BACK TO SCHOOL: TEACHING MATHEMATICS VIRTUALLY TO ALL STUDENTS

We are aware of the unique challenges faced by educators this year. We have designed this institute to support you as you start a virtual or hybrid school year. Our goal is to provide you with tools to create a positive classroom culture where students can remain numerate in this new reality.

In each workshop, we will study mathematical routines, and how these can be adapted for online learning. We will work together, online, to rise to the new challenges of designing and implementing a variety of numeracy routines and we will address the increasingly widening gaps in our students’ learning, how to keep all our students engaged, including those that are most vulnerable.
