Teaching Strategy Project Web Sites Fall 2001

Undergraduate students in Adolescent Learning & Development (Education 20500) participated in a semester-long project-based learning activity on a teaching strategy they selected from the following list: discussion, project-based learning/problem-based learning, reciprocal teaching, reciprocal questioning, peer tutoring, Internet, and debating.

The project included both individual and group activities. Individual activities included: writing a research paper, finding a lesson plan on the Internet, preparing own lesson plan, conducting mini-lesson demonstrating the strategy in a small group which role plays the students as the student demonstrating the strategy role plays their teacher. All students who select the same teaching strategy work together as a group in creating the web sites below on their teaching strategy.
