Introduction to Numeracy Routines for Grades K-2

In this Learning Community we will visit classrooms where routines such as Number Strings and rekenrek (Mathrack) quick images are being taught. We’ll then study and practice these routines that can be used throughout the school year to support the development of numeracy. We’ll consider how to incorporate this work as a complement to our existing Math Workshop.
